We do a lot of fun things at Shen-Paco and in doing so we teach many different skills! The last two weeks, we have focused on recycling and how it is very important and how it can be done in many different ways.
Individuals in SPI's Group Day program had the opportunity last week of learning how to recycle broken crayons to make crayons that are much larger, easier and fun to use by melting the crayons down into different shapes and sizes.
They also had the opportunity today of making candles out of recycled wax!!! What a wonderful activity recycling can be!!!
